About me

As Editor-in-Chief at Munich-based Bayern Tourismus Marketing, I lead the Editorial strategy and content creation for the print magazine 'Bayern. Das Magazin' as well as the websites erlebe.bayern and bavaria.travel.

Additionally, I have also co-managed the travel webazine trpstr.de since 2021 alongside five colleagues.

Over the past ten years, Japan has emerged as a cornerstone of my work as a travel reporter and content creator.

A significant number of my in-depth articles on Japan have appeared in print and online in high-profile German publications, including 'Welt am Sonntag', 'Frankfurter Rundschau', 'ADAC Reisemagazin' and 'Stuttgarter Nachrichten', 'SEAZEN', and 'NZZ'

My editorial background is rooted in over 20 years at the helm of ABENTEUER UND REISEN, Germany’s former leading travel magazine, which I led as Editor-in-Chief until its pandemic-related closure in 2021.
